Can I pick up the bike myself?
- At this time Trade My Stuff only offers a premium white glove delivery service that helps you set up and install your bike. You can test out the bike upon delivery and make sure it’s as described.
Does Peloton offer a warranty on a used Peloton?
- No. Peloton does not offer a warranty on used Peloton. The warranty offered is an 18-month warranty only offered by Trade My Stuff on your preowned bike and is available for purchase on trademystuff.com.
How old are the bikes?
- Most of Trade My Stuff's available bikes were made between 2018-2023 with less than 50 rides and only one previous owner.

What is the difference between generation (gen) 1, 2, 3, and the Plus(+) bike Peloton bikes?
- Gen 1 bikes are pelotons original model and have similar hardware to the Gen 2 and 3, but will not be eligible for future Peloton Software updates
- Gen 2 is very similar to the Gen 3, however, Gen 3 comes with a slightly better sound system and increased screen resolution.
- The Bike + model is Peloton's biggest upgrade to date! It has a default swivel screen option with an upgraded screen size and an updated sound system.
Is the Peloton Plus worth it?
- Trade My Stuff offers the plus for $1199. It has a swivel screen and also automatic resistance changes, so you are in sync with the instructor. Many customers enjoy the swivel screen feature to use for other fitness activities such as strength training, cardio, yoga, stretching exercises, and meditation.
How many owners has the bike had? (“Are you the first owner”?)
- Most of the bikes sold by Trade My Stuff have had one previous owner. Once bikes are purchased by Trade My Stuff, they are safely stored in a temperature-controlled environment to avoid any wear to the bike while in storage.

- Peloton bikes are renowned for their durability and top-notch performance, however, sometimes life happens and things break (even in brand-new bikes). Some of the issues that can occur after serious use include a lagging screen, loss of touch sensitivity, uncalibrated resistance flywheel, and a broken pedal or bottom bracket.

Have bike seats sold by Trade My Stuff been replaced by the seat recall?
- Most of our bikes do not have the updated seat that Peloton replaced since their recall. If you are concerned that your bike seat has not been replaced since the recall you can reach out to Support@trademyspin.com via email and we will send you the replacement for your seat for FREE. We also offer the seat for free when you're ordering a bike affected by the recall on our website.
Does Trade My Stuff accept cash?
- No, Trade My Stuff does not accept cash. But we have multiple forms of payment including Shopify, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and credit/bank card information.

Condition of the Bike:
Are there any visible signs of wear or damage?
- Trade My Stuff offers its customers second-hand Pelotons bikes in excellent condition. Most bikes have signs of wear such as mild scratches to the frame, handlebars, pedals, plastic pieces, and other parts of the bike. Trade My Stuff limits the sale of bikes with rust, paint chips, dents, screen cracks, resistance issues, bike chain issues, cuts in the seat, or anything that needs significant repair.
Has the bike been regularly maintained?
- Trade My Stuff does a complete review of the bike and goes through a cleaning process to maintain the integrity of the bike. Trade My Stuff also stores its bikes in a temperature and weather-resistant environment to ensure no rust or any other imperfections form during storage.
Warranty Information:
Does the Peloton warranty still work? If not, are there any extended warranties or service plans in place?
- Peloton offers a warranty to the original owner of the bike. However, warranties offered by Peloton are NOT transferable from person to person.
Software Updates:
Is the bike running the latest software version?
- Trade My Stuff is not responsible for user bikes being up to date on the latest software. Software updates are easily accomplished by proceeding to Settings → Systems → update will be available if the system is not up to date on the latest version.
Has it experienced any issues with software updates?
- Peloton reports that users in the past have experienced software update issues, the most common being users experiencing a screen freezing on a software update. If a user experiences a frozen screen while going through a software update Peloton suggests users do the following.
- Press and hold the power button located behind your Peloton screen until the screen shows the shutdown prompt.
- Select “shut down” to force your screen to shut off.
- Disconnect the Peloton's power cable from the back of the bike (between the back legs of the bike) for approx. 1 min.
- Reconnect the cord, wait a minute then proceed to turn on your bike

Do I have to do anything during delivery?
